Some exciting updates:
I entered three photographs into the “25th Annual Festival of Arts at Saint Francis of Assisi” Juried Exhibition and all three were awarded; as follows.
1. Anechoic Aspens~1st Place: Photography-Spotlight Category
2. High Falls Longitudinal Wave~Honorable Mention: Photography-Nature/Landscape Category
3. Wizard Island Image Shift~Honorable Mention: Photography-Nature/Landscape Category
The Festival was held from April 23 to the 26th, and it offered live music, poetry readings, dance routines and live painting demonstrations!
For me, it’s the best festival held in the tri-state area, that’s saying quite a bit, but it is an easily supported statement.
The four day event is open to amateurs, professionals, children and high school students alike.

One of my entries; Belvidere Pond Prima Vista, was selected for the “A. Smith Gallery Photographic Arts” ‘Light’ Juried Exhibition.
I captured this landscape while I was a participant in a workshop sponsored by Backcountry Journeys that was held in Vermont back in October, 2025.

The Juror was Elizabeth Avedon, and the exhibition dates are from May 8 to June 18, 2026. https://elizabethavedon.com/ABOUT/Bio/1/caption

Finally, I received an email yesterday about a possible collaboration with a company that is a production partner with Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union. Blank Creative, LLC, will gather photos for their 2027 MHV Community Calendar.
They are also looking to build a library of local photography for use in their marketing materials. https://www.blankcreativellc.com/
I have been fortunate enough over the years to have my photographs purchased for their annual calendar(s).
At this point in time, that is all the information I have until I hear from that company in the upcoming days for more specifics.
