South Carolina & Finger Lakes Region-NYS
This gallery presents a fine‑art photographic exploration of two distinct and atmospheric regions—South Carolina’s coastal and inland landscapes and New York’s Finger Lakes region. Together, these collections offer you a curated visual journey through the Southeast’s tidal ecosystems and the Northeast’s glacial lake country, unified by my contemplative, tonal approach to landscape photography.
In South Carolina, the gallery highlights the quiet geometry of tidal rivers, marshlands, barrier‑island shorelines, and the expressive forest corridors that define the Lowcountry’s natural character. You will encounter reflective wetlands, winding estuaries, live‑oak canopies, and the soft transitions of coastal weather—scenes shaped by the interplay of water, atmosphere, and seasonal change.
The collection expands northward into the Finger Lakes region of New York, where long glacial lakes, rolling vineyards, hardwood forests, and dramatic gorges create a landscape rich in texture and geological history. My photographs emphasize the region’s serene waters, steep canyon walls, and the luminous forest light that defines parks such as Watkins Glen, Taughannock Falls, and Buttermilk Falls. These images add a contrasting northern dimension to the gallery, showcasing the expressive beauty of New York’s inland terrain.
This gallery serves as a refined celebration of two remarkable American landscapes—inviting collectors, travelers, and nature enthusiasts to explore South Carolina’s coastal beauty and New York’s Finger Lakes region through my atmospheric, observant, and artistically resonant photographic lens.
